“Our goal is to discover material that the movie-going audience will love to see,” says Doug White, lit manager. “The industry is getting killed from bad scripts. Our goal is to never go out with a spec unless we know it has $150 million potential at the box office.”

Ripple Effect will also produce movies outside of the studio system. “We are also raising our second round of financing to produce motion pictures in the $20-30 million range,” says Alisha Dickenson, co-head of the Beverly Hills office.
